About the Bazooka RS10A-HP
Check out the flagship RS Series Bazookas. Designed for maximum efficiency, with Pure Piston woofers and Turbo Cooled voice coils, they play louder than ever, with greater accuracy and power handling.
The RS10A-HP high-powered 10" bass-blaster steps you up to 150 watts RMS power, right out of the box. It'll give you that firm bass foundation your sound system needs, even if you have to mount it in the trunk. A built-in variable crossover (50-250 Hz, 18 dB/octave) lets you fine-tune your bass output.
The RS Series powered bass tube comes with an installation kit which includes the power/ground harness (10.75" power lead, 21.75" ground lead), input/remote turn-on harness, 15 amp fuse with holder, and mounting hardware. (Note: An amp wiring kit is recommended.)
Buy the optional wired Remote Bass Control Module, and adjust the volume of your amplified Bazooka from your dash.

Manual Corrections
Crossover Frequency: Some manuals and units show an incorrect crossover frequency range of 60-250Hz. Per SAS Bazooka, the correct crossover frequency range is 50-250Hz.
Efficiency: The efficiency specification is from measurements taken in the low bass region with one watt of power in the tube's "typical environment"; this means it is an in-car efficiency rating.
Frequency Response: No dB
variation is given.
Features
Low Pass Crossover: The built-in crossover is continuously variable from 50-250 Hz with a 18dB/Octave slope.
Auto Turn-On: The Bazooka will turn on automatically whenever there is music present at the inputs (high level or low level input).
Remote Level Control: With an optional remote level control, you can vary the woofer's volume from a remote location. The remote input is on the back of the enclosure.
Input Circuitry: Balanced low level and balanced high level input circuitry is used for improved noise reduction.
Inputs: The inputs are summed to mono internally.
Volume (level) Control: The level control is a rotary knob.
Harness Connections: The wiring harness includes high level (speaker) and low level (RCA) inputs.
Woofer Surround: The woofer surround is foam.
Power Output: 150 watts RMS amplifier power
Power Wire: The power lead is only 10.75" long, so additional wire is required to extend it to the battery. Additional power wire must be crimped or soldered to the Bazooka's power lead.
Speaker Wire: Required only when using the high level inputs.
RCA Patch Cord: Required only when using the preamplified level inputs.
Remote Turn-on Wire: Required only if you do not use the auto turn-on feature.
Manual Correction: The wiring diagram on page 9 of the manual incorrectly shows hi-level output wires for an optional Bazooka slave unit. The wiring harness does not include hi-level output leads for connection to an optional Bazooka slave unit. Connecting an optional Bazooka to this unit will cause the amplifier to enter a protect mode, which ceases output.
